Non-Woven Bag Design Checklist: Size, Artwork and Print Placement

Artwork planning guide

Start with the bag.
Then plan the print.

A useful bag-printing brief brings the bag specification and artwork together. Before requesting a quotation, choose a bag format, identify the sides you want to print and prepare the design you would like the team to check.

Choose the bag before finalising the artwork

Compare the dimensions of your intended contents with the selected product. A4 and A3 product names are useful browsing labels, but the listed bag measurements and usable space matter when checking fit.

The Non-Woven Bag 1001 A4 – Ultrasonic lists dimensions of 25 × 35 × 10 cm, 80gsm non-woven material and silk-screen printing. The A3 Non Woven Bag Printing product lists dimensions of 40 × 30 × 10 cm and silk-screen printing. Confirm the dimension order and usable internal space if the contents need a close fit.

Identify the printing option you want checked

The Digital Print Non Woven Bag listing offers custom sizing and digital logo printing. Share the actual artwork and preferred bag colour so the team can check your requirements against that product.

For an A4 or A3 silk-screen option, send the design and intended colours with the product link. Ask which printing specifications apply to the chosen bag before treating the artwork as production-ready.

Make the placement clear

State whether the artwork should appear on the front, back or both sides. Indicate the approximate printed width and height, and identify any text or logo details that must remain readable.

Ask for the printable area for the selected product, including any limits around the handles, seams or gusset. Bag dimensions do not establish the available printing area. If you already have a placement reference, include it with the design file.

Confirm the production requirements

Check the required file format, image resolution, colour references and any artwork changes with the team. Ask how the artwork or layout will be confirmed before production. These details should be checked for the selected product and printing method.
